Hello, my name is Cindy Moorfield Wilkinson. What began five years ago as a single 2'x4' raised garden bed my granddaughter, Avery, helped me plant has blossomed into a thriving garden and a dream come to life. With the encouragement and countless hours of help from my husband, Chris and my family, we have transformed a portion of our backyard into a beautiful and productive garden aka "My Happy Place".
Today, I am delighted to share this space with others, creating opportunities to learn, gather, and celebrate the beauty of seasonal living.

The name MOOR From The Garden is a tribute to my maiden name Moorfield and to my family roots that continue to inspire me. Strawberry picking with my mom and my sisters every year and eating our mom's homemade strawberry jam on her freshly baked bread is one of my fondest childhood memories. Our mom passed away a few years ago, but we are carrying on her tradition of garden to table food.

My sister Suzanne (who is an amazing cook & baker), joins me in welcoming guests and assisting with each class, helping to create the warm, inviting atmosphere that makes every gathering feel like a visit among friends Suzanne will be preparing amazing small plates for you to enjoy for each workshop.
